COUNSELLING & THERAPY SERVICES AT THE CENTRE
Counselling and Psychotherapy for Individuals
This involves working with a professional therapist who offers you a confidential, impartial and safe place to explore whatever specific
issues you present with. We offer shorter issue focused counselling and long-term therapy.
Couple Counselling
This service is for couples who present with difficulties and want to explore issues such as communication, dealing with differences, stress and sexual issues. The therapist holds the couple equally, listens to both parties and helps the couple to listen to each other with a hope to finding a resolution.
Therapeutic Support for Families
We support families through a range of programmes and interventions including Parenting Support, Art Therapy, Rainbows, Childsplay and After Schools Club.
Art Therapy
Art Therapy is an opportunity to explore yourself and your emotions through the use of art materials with a therapist qualified in this
medium. It is a form of therapy that uses images and words that suits the needs of the client. You do not have to be ‘good at art’ to engage in this form of counselling/therapy and it is relevant to all ages.
