VOLUNTEER & LEADERSHIP TRAINING

There is always a need for new volunteers at the Family Life Centre. If you are interested in giving some of your time to the Centre please call in to us for a chat and a Volunteer Information Pack. There is a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available, with flexible days & times.

Volunteer Celebration
Date: Sunday March 25th Time: 3pm—6pm An evening of celebration for all the volunteers of the Centre. Put the date in your diary and more details to follow!

Volunteer Newsletter
This will be a new bi-annual publication for all the volunteers of the Centre. If you would like to write an article of your experience as a volunteer with a view to it being included in the Newsletter, please contact Louise at the Centre.

VOLUNTEER & LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Keeping Safe Training
A training in child protection called Keeping Safe will take place this term. The
training is essential for staff and volunteers working in the Centre.

Parenting Training
Lifestart Foundation’s Spirals Programme teaches parenting skills and the developmental stages of the growing child to groups of parents. We hope to train parents in this Programme in spring 2012, if you are interested in being a Parenting Facilitator please contact the Centre on 071 9663000

Bereavement Support Team Training
Date: 31st March Time: 11am—4pm
Training for all members, current and new of the Bereavement Team.
